Residential Landscaping

The Association currently contracts with landscape maintenance firm Yellowstone to maintain the common areas and mow and blow front and back lawns each week during the growing season, as well as performing occasional shrub trimming, landscape clean-up and turf fertilization. They also maintain a fire break behind Units 1-27 as a part of our Firewise initiative. Additionally, Yellowstone maintains and services our community irrigation system. Each owner is responsible for keeping all shrubs, trees, grass and plantings of every kind within the Limited Common Elements (front and back yards) assigned to each Owner’s unit, cultivated, pruned, free of trash and other unsightly material. Please refer to the Davenport Rim plats posted in the Documents section for more detailed information on the division of Limited Common Elements (LCE) for your home.

All areas of the LCE must have grass, mulch, rocks or other ground cover to maintain a good appearance and prevent erosion. Owners will be cited for non compliance. The Association has the right (but not the responsibility) to enter the property at any time to remedy Owner’s violations, and Owners will bear the cost of such actions.

All changes to your property’s landscape, other than planting/replacing annuals or small plants, must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for approval prior to starting work.
