Irrigation Problem Announcement

Owners:

The Board has learned that the neighborhood's irrigation controller was off on August 1, 2018, and was probably off for at least a week, maybe 10 days. This was due either to someone other than Brightview turning it off, or flipping a circuit breaker, which was found in the "Off" position. It is also possible that the controller overheated (high ambient temperature) and the breaker tripped to protect the controller.

The extreme heat in Austin has had an effect on several of our newly-planted trees and bushes, so we recommend those of you who have new plantings in your landscaping be aware of making sure the new plants get plenty of water (within restrictions), or that you delay planting until the weather cools down. Also, if your landscaper asks you about changing the common irrigation system to aid your new landscaping, we ask that you let them know that our landscape contractor is the only one who is allowed to change the irrigation system controls. The box is locked, but some landscapers apparently have a common key for such purposes.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Your HOA Board of Directors
