NEW LEGISLATIVE POLICIES -IMPORTANT!

The 2021 Texas Legislature passed four policies that affect Condominium Associations, which includes Davenport Rim. Owners need to be aware of these:

1. The first two, Document Retention Policy and Records Production and Copy Policy, provide rules for Association retention and maintenance of records, and how copies of records can be obtained and the cost of reproduction. These policies will be available on our website (2800waymaker.com) under Documents. Both 6-page policies were approved by the Board at its meeting on September 24, 2021, and are in the process of being signed, notarized, filed, and uploaded to the website.

This notice to owners is required by the Legislature after Board approval.

2. The third and fourth policies, Religious Item Display Regulations and Swimming Pool Enclosure Regulations, are enclosed in a document called Statutory-Based Rules and Regulations. The religious item display replaces Section IV. in our current Association Rules and Regulations Exhibit A, whereas the swimming pool enclosure regulations are new. These policies must be approved at a Board meeting after notice to owners 10 or more days before the meeting. The document containing both new policies are attached.

The Board has set up a regular meeting on October 13, 2021at 5:30 pm, via Zoom. Anyone with questions or concerns regarding the Religious Item Display Regulations or Swimming Pool Enclosure Regulations may attend the Board meeting or send an email to our Pioneer manager, Paul Meisler (psmeisler@aol.com). The Zoom link can also be obtained from Mr. Meisler.
