RE: DRMNA Security Update
The Davenport Ranch Master Neighborhood Association Board, through a security committee, researched and performed due diligence to retain additional and improved security coverage for our neighborhood. The Board significantly increased and improved the neighborhood’s security coverage without impacting next year’s budget. Below are the highlights:
• DRMNA retained the Travis County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) to continue securing our neighborhood, issuing traffic citations, and having a TCSO presence, while also adding the reputable private security firm Tri Shield Security, Inc. (TSSI) to provide additional security.
• The total number of security coverage hours will almost double from last year; without any substantial change to the security budget. The Board will be able to have more input in the allotment of the security coverage.
• Additionally, we will also benefit from greater transparency in TSSI patrol coverage through the use of a patrol dashboard and reporting through the TSSI residential portal.
• Important Protocols to remember when you encounter a security issue (in order):
a. Call 911
b. Call 311
c. Residential Portal / TSSI Security Phone (See Contact on portal link)
